Technology courses include:

Core Computers – hands-on experience with computer applications featuring the use of Windows, documents, presentations and spreadsheet software.  All lectures/labs are hosted on an online management system and can be accessed by students throughout the duration of the course.

Advanced Computers – provides a basic understanding of the methods and techniques of developing a simple web site using standard web page language. After the foundation language has been established, a web editor will be introduced.  A second web-based language will be included to further enhance the web sites.

Digital Photo – students will learn how to use industry standard digital editing software, computer hardware and hardware equipment.  Students will be instructed in design, rules of composition, the history of photography and career options.  The use of a digital camera, photographic techniques and visual design will also be discussed.

Graphic Design – students will be introduced to graphic design as a form of visual communication through the use of type, image, form and color.  Projects will explore the design process in two and three dimensions, visual identity, thematic structure, creative problem solving and the basic design process of critiques and discussion.
