Important News and Information:
Minimum Day Next Wednesday
REMEMBER! Next Wednesday, April 26th is a MINIMUM DAY! Grade K-6 will be dismissed ay 12 and Jr. High is out at 12:20. The entire staff has to attend an important meeting so please be prompt in picking up your children.
Spring school photos were due back on April 25th. If you still have the pictures and are not purchasing them, please return them to the office on Monday. You will be charged for pictures that are not returned and haven’t been paid for.
Family Movie Night Next Friday!
Don’t miss this fun evening event! Heritage Family Movie Night will be on Friday, April 28th at 7:30pm. Star Wars Rogue One will be the movie. This is a free event for Heritage students and their families. Free popcorn will be served! Students must be accompanied by a parent.
The Uniform Store here at Heritage will be open only 2 more times this school year. It will be open on Monday, April 24th and Monday, May 8th from 2:30pm – 3:30pm. Don’t miss out on great uniform deals!
P.E. Make-Ups 6th-8th Grade
Absent from P.E. this semester? All points lost due to an absence can be made up on Tuesday, April 25th at 2:40 pm (for 6th grade) and 3 pm (for 7th/8th grade) and/or Thursday, April 27th at 3 pm. Each make-up attended will cover one absence. Make-ups will be held on the field and last between 10-15 minutes. Contact Mrs. Hoggatt at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Teacher Appreciation Luncheon
For Teacher Appreciation Week, two kind Heritage moms are organizing a special luncheon for Heritage K8 teachers & staff. It will be on Thursday May 4th in the MPR. Monetary contributions are needed to cover the cost of the lunch. If you would like to give, please bring the money in an envelope labeled “teacher appreciation lunch” to your child’s classroom or to the office. Silent Auction Baskets
One of the big events at Heritage Family Fun Day is the silent auction. Each grade is assigned a theme for their auction basket. Parents are asked to contribute items to their student’s grade basket. Please contact your student’s teacher if you have any questions. Auction basket donations can be brought to the office or to the classroom. All donations are greatly appreciated!

8th Grade to Knott’s Berry Farm
The 8th grade promotion trip to Knott’s Berry Farm will be on Thursday, May 25th. Permission slips and payment of $65 are due on Friday, April 28th. Please contact Mrs. Marek at email@example.com if you have any questions.

Lost and Found
There are lots of discarded clothes, water bottles and lunchboxes in Lost and Found. Please retrieve your child’s lost stuff as soon as possible. All items left on Friday, April 28th are going to be donated.
Scholastic Book Fair
Our annual spring book fair will be held from May 1st – 6th in the MPR. On May 1st it will be open after school until 4pm. On May 2nd – 5th it will be open before and school. On Family Fun Day, May 6th, it will be open from 2pm-7:00pm. Come pick out some great books! Books can also be purchased online at Scholastic.com/bookfairs from April 22nd- May 12th.

Order your yearbook while supplies last! Yearbooks are $35 and can be purchased at Jostens.com or with cash or check in the front office.
