Lottery Application Process – 2018-2019 School Year
Welcome to the enrollment page for the Heritage Elementary School and Heritage Junior High School programs. The purpose of the Enrollment Coordinator is to assist parents through enrollment to ensure they understand and complete the application process.
The lottery for both the Heritage Elementary School and Heritage Junior High School 2018-2019 school year will be held on February 28, 2018. Applications for the lottery will be accepted from October 10, 2017 through February 9, 2018. After submitting the online application, bring in two proofs of residency documents to the main office located at 1855 East Valley Parkway.
The state of California requires that all kindergarten applicants must turn five years of age by September 1, 2018. Original birth certificate will be required for the kindergarten application.
Enrollment to Heritage Elementary and Heritage Junior High is not selective. All students, therefore, are encouraged to apply. For the 2018-2019 school year, the Elementary School anticipates enrolling approximately 78 Kindergartners and 18 5th graders. Additional openings may become available dependent upon student movement, i.e. relocation, retention, etc. Applications for all remaining elementary grades 1-4 and 6 and junior high grades 7-8 are also being accepted at this time for placement on our waiting list. Once the lottery has taken place, parents will be informed of their student’s enrollment status.
